Cannot record in stereo
For some reason I cannot record in stereo since I moved to Windows7. It was fine under Vista. 'Audio track' menu shows only 'mono'. I have tried deleting and reinstalling, but no difference. What next please?

You've posted in the Audacity 1.2 part of the forum.
For Win 7 you should be using Audacity 1.3.12 http://audacityteam.org/download/
Check in the Windows Control Panel that your recording device is set to record in Stereo http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Mixer ... trol_Panel
Then start/re-start Audacity.
"Edit menu > Preferences > Devices" and set the number of recording channels to "2 (stereo)"
