i have uploaded music onto audacity by slecting stereo-track and pressing record...this records whatever my pc speakers are playing

is it possible to split the vocals on the recording, from the music??

so that i could mix the vocals of one song with the music of another creating a mix. is there some kind of equalizer maybe where you can silence the music and just have the vocals playing??

many thanks

Maybe. Center Pan Remover takes out the voice and the other two isolate a singer from the music.

The software almost never works right. They need an uncompressed stereo show with the singer in the exact center and no echo or special effects added to the voice. Nobody makes music like that, but its worth a try.
