Opening an AVI file

Good day,
This AVI file is about 4,000,000kb in size.
it is actually a workshop that I recorded.
I am trying to split the audio from the video.
I thought that Audacity could do this.
I click file open then select this file and it seems it wants to open it but it could take for ever to open.
Any suggestion?

Audacity does not support AVI files. Try SUPER from erightsoft.
