I've been using this program for a few days now to manipulate some recordings, but while trying to edit a recording, I accidently pressed the the input volume meter on the mixer toolbar (the one to the right, with the microphone symbol on it). After that, I couldn't hear any sound at all. Not in audacity, not on any program or account... I tried to redo my steps, but nothing. I'm kinda lost as to how to rivive my sound. I even reinstalled audacity, and I still get no sound.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Check the Windows Mixer (loudspeaker icon near the clock) and make sure that you've not got something muted.

Not sure where that little icon went, but I found the Mixer under Programs/Accessories/Entertainment and sure enough the wave audio was muted!stevethefiddle wrote:Check the Windows Mixer (loudspeaker icon near the clock) and make sure that you've not got something muted.
I'll just make sure not to touch the mixer toolbar again, hehe. This is a great program btw, big thanks StevetheFiddler
