Scheduling

Are there any plans to provide scheduling a recording? Currently, I must monitor my session by either setting an audible alarm or sitting at my computer and watching the waveform fly by. Or possibly by cutting the file, although this seems to be not so satisfactory.

In Audacity 1.3.12 there is "Timer Record". http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Transport_Menu
Audacity 1.3.12 is highly recommended.
