Everything was working fine then paste stopped working. Paste is disabled. I have un-installed program and re-installed in an attempt to get working. Doesn't seem to matter what I I do I can't get paste working. Help!

If you are really using Audacity 1.2.x I would highly recommend that you upgrade to Audacity 1.3.12 http://audacityteam.org/download/
Most functions are only available when Audacity is stopped. If you are in Play, Record or Pause then most functions are disabled.
