Audio file not working

I recently recorded a song over an instrumental. I then exported it as a wav. Then combined it with another recording I did. It played fine when I listened to it on Audacity. When I exported it as a wav, the first 3/4 of the recording didn't play and now on Audacity it still shows that there is audio present with the squiggly lines but there is nothing from the speakers even on Audacity. The last bit plays but its crucial that the first part somehow works. Please help!

Timing is critical. Did you do anything to the original music file in the second show before you exported the second WAV?

Audacity was still standing on the original music files. If they vanish through deletion, moving, or renaming , the show will drop dead even though the blue waves are still there.

Can you put the file back?
