How do I put 2 songs on audacity?

Guys. I'm trying to make a mashup of two songs. I already bought the songs so I dont feel like recording them, Even then I dont know how to get two songs on... But really, How do I put 2 songs on Audacity?

Launch Audacity and File > Open one song and File > Import the other. Then you can use the Time Shift and Envelope tools to fade back and forth between the two. If you want them one after the other, Copy the second song and Paste it behind the first. The Solo and Mute buttons for each track determine which track you hear.

One more point. You should start using Audacity 1.3.12.

Audacity 1.2 is no longer supported, updated, or patched.

Also, if your songs start playing at funny speeds, you may need "lame" and "FFMpeg" software packages from the same place.
