uninstalling 1.2.6
My son downloaded audacity 1.2.6, he no longer uses it and we cannot uninstall it without a command line, how can we find that?

Re: uninstalling 1.2.6
You should use the Windows tools to uninstall Audacity.
Start > Control Panels > Add or Remove Software. Typically, Windows leaves the screen icons laying around and those will have to be deleted manually.
Removing Audacity from the command line is not for the faint of heart. Audacity 1.2 burns itself into the Dreaded Windows Registry.

Do you have to "be" your son to uninstall the program? Does your computer have multiple logins?
I need to go find how to edit the Registry. I believe somebody did post once how to do that.
