Save Problem Results in Weirder Problem

Hey everybody,
So I have the demo version of Fruity Loops, which won't let you save your projects, so to cheat the system I use Audacity to record the stuff I make with Fruity Loops. So after recording a little obnoxious-long-complicated-electro loop I go to record it, and as I'm saving the Audacity project I decide to exit Fruity Loops and Mozilla at the same time because I'm Superman and I figured it would work out. When I did this the computer froze up and got mad at me for a bit, and when the fog of computer error messages finally cleared I saw Audacity had gone away and I came to the stunning realization that I'm in fact not Superman.
So I go to reopen Audacity and get Supermad when I see that my project didn't save, but upon further investigation I find that the project data FOLDER was there and fine and dandy but the project FILE wasn't. This made me confused as well as Supermad so I took my anger out by playing emulated Donkey Kong, which of course made me even angrier and then I hit something, which made me feel a whole lot nicer.
So is there any way I can revive my project from the project data folder?
Thanks,
Ausoupity
