Re: two tracks playings at same time help split
If you are sure that you have exported the first recording (hopefully to a lossless format like WAV) then you can just delete the first recording from the project by clicking in the little x at the top left of the Track Control Panel to the left of the track.
If you want to keep both in the same project but have one play after the other, then you can move the second recording along the timeline by using the Time-Shift tool (icon is a little square button with a horizontal double-headed black arrow). Don't forget to reselect the normal cursor (the big girder-I) after you have finished with the time shift.

Re: two tracks playings at same time help split
You cannot "split" the second recording.
You cannot completely "remove" the first recording from the second recording.
You may be able to partially remove the first recording from the second recording.
What you need to do is to import both recordings into Audacity and line them up (one above the other) exactly.
Look for a characteristic sharp peak in the first recording and line it up with the same peak in the second recording.
Zoom in so that you can see individual samples (dots) on the waveform and line them up as close as possible.
When you have done that, select the first recording and apply "Effect > Invert"
When you play the two tracks back (together) you will hear the "mathematical difference" between the two tracks. If the tracks are lined up exactly then the inverted first recording should partially cancel out the non-inverted first recording that is in the second recording. If the second recording contains an exact copy of the first recording AND you have lined the tracks up exactly then the cancellation will be perfect and you will be left with just the second recording without the first. However, because the tracks were saved in "lossy" (inexact) compressed formats, it will not be possible to achieve perfect cancellation. Get it as close as you can - adjusting the volume of one or other track (with the track volume slider) may help improve the amount of cancellation.
When you have isolated the second recording as much as possible, export the result (preferably as a WAV file).

How far did you get?
It will be a lot easier to talk you through this if you upgrade to Audacity 1.3.12 before we go further. You can get it here: http://audacityteam.org/download/

Re: two tracks playings at same time help split
Be advised Sonnys even if you perform the “invert”, (destructive interference), method correctly, there will still be traces of the sound you are trying to remove left behind, (because you saved it as a OGG which uses lossy compression ), e.g. attached …
The above before-after example was made using an average "5/10" (default) quality OGG, if you used a better quality setting for the OGG, say "10/10", then the removal would be more complete.
