Hi,
I'm using ( and loving) audacity 1.2.6. I'm recording our worship band's set in one long (25-30 minate), two track, take on my Tascam DP-01FX. I then transfer the master to Audacity. I then split the tracks into individual "song tracks". My question is this, when I export multiple, is there any way to transfer track info (i.e. track #, song title, lenght, etc.) with it so that it will show up?
Thanks,
Mark

Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Re: transfer track info
If you are exporting as WAV, then no - the wav format does not support meta-tags (it's just a minor annoyance that Audacity asks you for them when you choose to export).
FLAC is a lossless format that supports metatag information, though not all media players support it.
MP3 supports metatags and is well supported by media players, but the sound quality is lower than for a wav file.
You could always do the Export Multiple twice, once as WAV files (for the lossless sound quality) and again as mp3 (for the metatag support).
