I have not yet downloaded Audacity yet, because I need to be sure I will be given the following abilities. I have two videos taken from my camera, and I need to take the audio from these two video files and have them play overtop of each other in the same AUDIO file. I need to do this because I then need to upload the one audio file for use on Windows Movie Maker.
First, is this given on audacity, particularly 1.2?
Second, how would I go about doing this? (in brief)
Take audio from two different sources

Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Re: Take audio from two different sources
Download from here: http://audacityteam.org/
I prefer the beta version, but you may find a few bugs in it, otherwise go for version 1.2.6
Comprehensive instructions and tutorials are available at the same place.
Audacity will not help you extract the audio files from the video, or to put them back in (you need to use a video editing program for that), but Audacity will do all the audio editing that you need.
