Phantom MP3

Post by Silver7Shadow » Tue May 27, 2008 12:35 pm

I could really do with some help on this. Firstly i have trawled the internet for a dance mash-up by Members of mayday Vs Cortina - Members Are Moving. It is practically extinct judging by the fact that Hard to find records are prepared to buy it off anyone who possesses it. The only place where i could locate it and play through the whole track is a polish website (3 actually) 1
of which allows download. Upon doing this though the only place you can play it is in additional playlists on WMP. You cannot sync it to any devices, copy to itunes, basically anything. Also the file icon does not appear like a routine WMA file or mp3 but as a document with three small images on it (whatever the hell that is!!). If any assistance could be given regarding this then FANTASTIC!!! alternatively i move on to the next point. I downloaded this software hoping i could record the track then get it into itunes that way but there in lies my problem. No matter what alterations i make in the preferences section NOTHING happens when i click record, all i seem to get is a flat line on the copy which obviously means no sound so i would hugely appreciate some assistance with this as it's starting to infuriate me.

Thanks

Michael

I think we are not interested in your Members or whatever.

As regards your file, check first if the filename and suffix(type) is corrrect etc.

You can record, perhaps you could look at tutorials
Recarding http://audacityteam.org/manual-1.2/tuto ... ics_4.html
http://audacityteam.org/manual-1.2/tutorials.html
and the links on http://audacityteam.org/forum/viewtopic ... 870#p17870

You probably need to select your input in Edit>Preferences, Audio-IO

If you want to "record the track" where track means your Members, I think it is recorded already.
You also can check the last link above once more.
