Upgrading Beta - Cant playback

Hi, I just upgraded to the beta without uninstalling my old version of audacity first. I was eager to try out the beta, but after recording anything, I wasn't able to play it back. In the old version all you had to do was press the green arrow and your recorded sound would play back. I then tried to play back a recording in my old version of audacity, but I still wasn't able to playback anything. Instead, the playback button just gets pressed in, but no sound is played back. The display that shows how much sound is being played back shows nothing. And the arrow that shows what spot on your track that you are on also don't move. I uninstalled both versions and reinstalled only the old version, but my problem persists. Any help would be appreciated!

Nevermind, restarting my computer fixed it for now.
