Just bought a new USB-turntable, and installed Audacity.
However, when I open Audacity, there is no signal visible or audible from the vinyl. Just flat lines.
I tried all combinations in Playback and Recording (4 x 4 settings possible), but 6 of them gave a "false setting" note, and the rest didn't work as well.
Aside of all, the moment I connect the TT with an USB-socket of my PC (Windows XP, soundcard: Creative SB Live! series), I can't use WMP or any other musicsoftware (i.e. Goldwave) anymore - no sound at all.
The turntable works well, when I use it with the RCA-cable to my audioset-amplifier.
Anyone a suggestion?
