Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

exporting file

Each time I try to export a particular multiple file as Wav., I get the message, 'Cannot export files to C/Documents... etc'. I've successfully exported these files as a single 46 minute file in the past, so am I doing something wrong? I go through every Export Wav. step carefully but still get the failure message. I've exported other files in the past without trouble.

I suspect that you are using special characters like / in your filename(s).

I usually make fairly vanilla filenames in Audacity labels and then edit the filenames and metadat tags later, after export.
