Problem with recording

Post by reciclarcables1010 » Mon Oct 25, 2010 10:36 am

Hi All,

When I press RECORD to add a new audio track to a file (song) that already contains at least one audio track, the playback of the previously recorded track(s) is distorted..

How can I fix that , please advise..

Thank you..

When tracks are played/mixed together, the sounds are effectively "added" to each other. This can cause the overall volume level to exceed 0 dB and distort.
To avoid this, keep an eye on the green playback meters and if necessary reduce the level of the tracks using the volume sliders on the "track control panels" on the left end of the tracks.
