When i record records with my akai turntable i see that i record in stereo ( audacity shows my track left and right) but channel left and right have exact the same output.
So in my opinion i am recording duble mone is this correct or do i something wrong.
The turntable is connected by usb to my computer.
The computer runs on vista32
Every thing else is normal. I have made a wave fil and burnd it with nero8 to an cd and i can play this in a disc player.
But i looks like the left and the richt track are the same.

Re: Recording from tunrtable stereo
So this is a USB turntable?
OK so it sounds obvious, but it is a stereo record?
Can you record a sample with Windows Sound Recorder? (a good way to test the computer sound system)
Does Windows Sound recorder make a stereo or dual mono recording?
Have you checked to see if they are EXACTLY the same?Bram13 wrote:But i looks like the left and the richt track are the same.
