Hi,

When I tried to record, the following error message appeared:

"Error opening sound device. Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate."

Your help would be greatly appreciated..

Try upgrading to Audacity 1.3.12. If you're lucky that will automagically fix it. http://audacityteam.org/download/

If you still have a problem, please say which version of Windows you are using and what you are trying to record from (for example, "I'm wanting to record myself singing using a Samson C01 USB microphone connected to the USB port of my laptop computer - Windows Vista SP2").
