Unable to alter effects once set

Post by wsmith1 » Tue Oct 05, 2010 1:37 pm

I am trying to increase the bass effects. But once set I am unable to change again. I have to go all the way importing the file fresh from original source to do the same.
Is there a way to undo the effects of an imported file within the tool.

Edit > Undo.

That won't work if you save your project and come back next week. Projects don't save Undo.

If you want to "increase" the bass effect (having already applied it once) just apply it again.
Take care not to make the waveform too big - if it goes beyond the top/bottom of the track the sound will distort. To prevent that from happening you may need to use the "Amplify" effect and Amplify by a negative amount to bring down the overall level.
