I'm using an HP notebook, 2GB RAM, WinXP.
Problem(s): Audacity won't overwrite an existing .wav file of the same name. Gives message that directory may be full or read-only. Had to export to a different directory and then manually copy it to the desired directory. In the meantime, Audacity destroyed the existing .wav file (Explorer showed the original file name, but it has 0 bytes as the size).
I had edited the audio file by cutting its length in half (from 1 hour to 30 minutes). The original (unedited) .wav file size was approximately 1.7 Mb. The new, edited file size is over 2 Mb.
I'm posting this as a bug report and am not looking for a fix as I'm now using different editing software.
semi-stable

Which is?
Thanks for the report, but 1.2 is soon to be three version old software and I'm pretty confident nobody is working on it any more.
