recording problems

1 made a stereo recording from a mp3 on Audacity. That works.I can play it back. Now I want to add a new track ( drums from my digital Yamaha drumset) and record it so that i can play it back and hear the mp3 and me drumming.
When i want to press the button record it says :
Problem when opening this sounddevice. Cheque the inputsettings from the device and the sample frequentions of this project.
The electronical drums are connected to the computer ( i think as a microfone ) I want to record but cannot solve this probnlem
