Not all tracks on a recording export as wav files
On several occasions, I've had trouble exporting multiple files. Most recently, I exported five files -- four were fine, but one (the first track) exported a empty shell and I can't figure out how to fix it. The same thing happens when I export to mp3. Is this a problem with how the recording is separated into tracks? It doesn't happen all the time. I'm using version 1.2.6 on a Vista pc.

Usually that happens when you forget to put a marker in front of the first song.

There is a marker in front of first file. Is there any special way of doing this? I've just been positioning cursor and hitting control B and typing in track name. It works fine most of the time. Would it be an particular problem with a very long track?

You need to make sure that the first label starts right at the beginning of the recording - click on the "Skip to Start" (the icon that looks like a fast rewind button on your cassette/VHS/DVD player) - then use Ctrl+B to insert the first label there.
