Mixing right and left into one stero track

I have a stereo recording with one voice playing in the left channel and the other in the right.
I want to mix them so that I hear both voices on both channels.

I've just been given a solution by the friendly support at CallGraph and it works too

1) Import mp3 file into audacity.
2) Click on the name of the track (on the left hand side). A menu will drop down. Select "Split Stereo Track". Now you should see two separate tracks.
3) Click on the name of each track and set both of them to Mono.
4) Export it to a new file.
