You still haven't told us what kind of audio connectors your computer has. Do you look like the picture stevethefiddle posted?

In any case, to record the audio from the keyboard you need to connect to the stereo Line Out RCA sockets on the keyboard - so one end of the cable needs dual RCA connectors. What's on the other end of the cable depends on what the audio input jack of your computer looks like.

It is not clear from what you posted from the manual what the USB connection is for. It may carry digital audio, or not. Are they any diagrams in the manual showing the keyboard connected to a computer?

Under the SPECIFICATIONS page there is a section called "CONNECTORS".
The following are listed there: Headphone, Audio In (Left/Right), Audio Out (Left/Right), MIDI In/Out, and USB.
There are two jacks for Headphones. As I said, I scanned a picture of the Connector panels but can not seem to copy it here.
(I tried to Copy/Paste, it won't let me. Also tried "IMG" button in the toolbar here above but I don't know what to do next.
Hope this helps. Thanks again.

If the image file is less than 2MB in size then you can use the "Upload Attachments" feature (just below the "compose message" box).

After it has uploaded there is an option to "place in-line" which will create a link in the message text and the image will be displayed at that position when the message has been posted. You can use the "Preview" button to view your message (including the image) before posting, but the Preview button does not "post" the message, so you still need to click on the "Post Message" button.

I'm not sure that a picture will help that much. We know that you have audio out on RCA jacks. The question remains about what the USB port is used for. That should be addressed somewhere in the manual.

The reason why I'm interested in that USB port is because your computer may not have a line input jack. If the USB is carrying digital audio that might then be an option.

It's highly unlikely (but not impossible) that the USB port on the keyboard will carry audio.
It is very common for keyboards to have USB MIDI (often in addition to the conventional round DIN plugs) but I don't recall ever seeing a keyboard with USB audio. If this keyboard does send audio down the USB, then I would expect the manual to say so explicitly as this would be a unique feature.

That was my thought as well. Until the OP tells us what kind of audio connectors his computer has we can't get any further.

Hi,I checked the entire manual and the only reference to the USB port is what I wrote you before - "The USB connector allows you to connect the piano directly to your computer's USB port. Do not turn on the piano with the USB cable connected to the computer to avoid having to restart your computer." That's all it says. Period. Everything else is about MIDI and Audio jacks.
When I look under the piano at the Connector Panel, the jacks that say "Audio" in the manual say
LINE IN and LINE OUT on the piano. They also both say L and R (left and right?). These four jacks are approx. 1/4" in diameter and are empty as far as I can see. Does that help? Is there a question I can call Suzuki with for you? I started to ask them some questions last month and they suggested a USB to MIDI cable but stopped there and directed me to some YOUTUBE videos. Didn't help much.
As far as the picture importing,I did hit "upload attachment". I 'browsed' for the pic, (jpg), found it and after it looked like it was uploading, I got a message saying my file type was invalid.
I'm not sure what that meant. Anyway, I still appreciate your patience and diligence on this. If there is anything else I can provide you with, let me know. (from Suzuki or my manual). Thanks.

OK, the USB is probably for MIDI. Forget that.

This wikipedia page has pictures of RCA plugs and jacks: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RCA_jack Do the audio in/out connectors on the piano look like that?

And, please, do you have a LINE INPUT on your computer? Is it a laptop or a desktop machine? Do the connectors look like the picture stevethefiddle posted earlier?

We can't tell you what cable to get until we know that.

If you sent that to [email protected] then it will not get to me. We don't need a picture of your keyboard. We need to know what inputs are available on your computer. What is the make and model of your computer? What operating system version are you running? Do you know if your computer has a Line Input, or a microphone input, or both? Posting to the forum will help others who may have similar problems.

Did you look at that wikipedia page to determine if the outputs on your keyboard are RCA type?
