Hi,
I, like many others am a non-sound person using this program, which I like very much. I am a voice over artist and need to do a musical watermark when I prepare an audition. I record the voice, ad royalty free music on a separate track and it sounds great. Then I have to convert the file to an MP3. When I do that, suddenly the sound gets grainy and staticky, but only when I have the music track on there. When I convert only my voice, it is fine. What's the deal? Any thoughts?
Appreciate your help...
Claudia

Re: Sound gets staticky converting voice with music under to
It may be due to the sound quality being degraded by the MP3 compression, or it could be that the combination of voice + music is causing the mix to get too loud and distort. How does it sound if you export as WAV? If you still get the poor sound quality could you upload a couple of seconds to the forum to demonstrate the problem (in WAV format).
