I am a pianist, and have recordings of my music on CDs. Is it possible to use this program to correct a wrong note? I.E. if I should have played a C and played a Bb instead, is there a way to correct this so that the final product is free from error?

Yes. A skilled editor could correct one note by either laying in a new note or pitch shifting the existing one -- assuming you were only playing that one note. Most songs are played with multiple notes at the same time and that kills you. There's no way to separate that one note out of the others being played.

In such cases you would re-record the bad section and use the new recording to replace the part with the error. Normally, for natural sounding results, you would copy/paste the entire phrase rather than just the note or part of a phrase.
