Hi, Ive just installed the latest stable version for Audacity for Windows.

I tried using a mono out device to do audio recording from streaming sites and videos, when I do export as WAV, it sounds great. Here's one info that might help technically:

The exported WAV file, when I tried converting to mp3 using a converter software, lets say, Xilisoft WAV MP3 Converter, the mp3 doesnt have any sound whereas, when I export via Audacity, it does have sound.

It's just that the moment I tried to export as MP3 (Using Audacity), when I listen to the audio, I hear the original sound track, plus the sound of what seems to be like "Bubbles" in the background.

Here are my options:

Audio I/O:

Playback device: SoundMAX Digital Audio
Recording device: SoundMAX Digital Audio
Channels: 2 (stereo)

Default sample rate: 44100Hz
Default sample format: 16-bit
