Reset Audacity? Dose anyone know how?
Is there a way to reset audacity to its original settings? I completly messed up all the settings in it and i tried uninstalling it and re-installing it but when i do it installs with the same settings. Can anyone help please?!

Just trash it and upload it again... Then record the settings by typing the original settings on notepad or something.

It is harder to do in 1.2 than in 1.3. In 1.2 the preferences are stored in the registry - if you are confident in working on your windows registry then you can reset Audacity.
In 1.3 there is a .cfg configuration file that is created per user - deleting this file and then restarting Audacity will reset 1.3 Audacity.
