record control
everytime i need to record i need to go to record control and select 'stereo mix' because for some strange reason when i record the settings are reset back to 'microphone' and wont start on 'stereo mix'. in cakewalk pyro i go to make audio cd to record then tips then 'open windows mixer' to open 'record control' then select 'stereo mix' instead of 'microphone'. this is easier than going to control panel etc which takes more time and steps. my question is how to access 'record control' from audacity? since thats pretty much why i still use it anymore and not audacity entirely
Re: record control
There should be a loudspeaker icon in the sys tray (near the clock) - double click on the icon and the Windows mixer should open.

Re: record control
Have a look for buttons for "Options" or "Advanced". Some of the settings are often hidden by default.
