I am having trouble getting my headphones to work correctly when recording. I am playing MIDI music on my laptop, and practice guitar along with it. When I use the speakers, everything works fine; when I try the headphones, I can hear the MIDI, but not the guitar. Alesis tech support has been no help. They want me to use their canned software instead of Audacity. The laptop is connected to the Multimix thru the USB ports, the guitar is plugged in to the mixer.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. I am a first time user...thanks, Hal

Is that because when you use the speakers you can hear the guitar acoustically?gadabout wrote:I am playing MIDI music on my laptop, and practice guitar along with it. When I use the speakers, everything works fine; when I try the headphones, I can hear the MIDI, but not the guitar.
