I just recently recently purchsed a Behringer pre amp and connected the RCA output to the RCA input and the usb into my lap top. To my surpirse it did not work. Do I have to change any of the properties within audacity to accept the signals?

What's the job? What are you trying to capture or record?

i'm using two turntables plugged into my Roland DJ2000 mixer and attempting to make a mix cd.

Thx for the help! I still have a problem with a "buzzing" noise. Not sure if this is caused by the actual turntable. Is there any way to cancel that out so I havoc clean output?
