Audacity Forum

I read the tutorials and get what the steps are but when I select the part of the track with the noise I want removed and go back to the Noise Removal tool, the small selection is replaced with the entire track. What am I doing wrong? I'm using the non-stable beta version.

You're clear that you're posting a 1.3 question on the 1.2 forum? One of the reason many of us aren't using 1.3 is because it's unstable.
