I have a digital recorder that exports each recorded track via USB as a single wav file.
I now want to take all 8 .wav files and import them into Audacity as a single synchronized song so I can fine tune each track before burning it to CD.
Is this possible and if so how do I do it?
I tried to use open but it only opened up 8 separate files, and I am new at this so I'd rather find out if I can before I spend hours finding out I can't.
Thanks!
EDIT:
I figured this out. simple drag and drop after opening up the first track and it all synchs up.

Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Re: multiple .wav File Import question
the other way is to use Import rather than Open.
Open a new project (or open the first wav file) and then Import the other WAV files.
