No sound during playback.

I just used Audacity last week and the music playback was fine. I had my computer DVD-RW drive replaced, so perhaps something got messed up there-- but now it will not allow me to playback anything in Audacity. All other programs play music, only Audacity produces no sound when prompted. How do I remedy this? Thank you.
