Hi, I exported my project in Wav format, its 50mb and it sounds fine.
I exported the same project in mp3 format, after following the instructions about lame dll. Audacity export it, and the resulting file is 5mb.
Problem is that when i play this mp3 it sounds absolutely... silent. 5mb of silence. Why?

Re: lame encoder dos not work
Import the mp3 back into Audacity and see if it plays. If it does, then you have probably selected an mp3 format that is not supported by your media player. If it is silent in Audacity, then you probably did something wrong when you were exporting - possibly you used "Export Selection" instead of "Export", or something like that.

Re: lame encoder dos not work
what do you mean with mp3 format? the bit rate? in preferences thats the only available value to change. At the moment is on the default 128.
Or can I change the export mp3 format in another way?
