Hey,

I had trouble getting sound to play while i was using a USB microphone, but i've sorted that.

No when i press record i get a high pitch feedback noise and the pause button keeps going on and off. It wont record it now.

Please help.

The issue has changed. Now the feedback is at a more reasonable level but the pause button is always paused when i press record.

Which Windows and which Audacity, exactly? Laptop and by who?
You appear to have a profoundly unstable machine, but knowing that info is a good start.

Has this ever worked?
