I have Audacity can you tell me if I can rip a CD to WAV format with it?
And if not what is a good free program?
I tryed
FC Ripper
CDex
Free Ripper
BC Ripper
DC Ripper
None of them work.

CDex failed? That's hard to believe. Did you get any error messages?
Audacity will edit the files after CDex rips the music.

The CD is of sound FX not music and when I put the CD in the drive it never would get the Titles it would not read the CD.
And when I try to configure CDex I can not pick my CD ROM drive it would not list it.

It's not surprising when CD "song" titles are not listed. Music CDs do not carry song titles. The computer has to go on line to look them up. If the CD is not registered or listed anywhere, the song titles will be Track 01, Track 02, etc.
Does the disk have the "Compact Disk Digital Audio" logo on it?
Do Music CDs work on your system? Can you use CDex to rip a Nine Inch Nails Music CD? I'm betting no. If the computer can't find your CD player, then it may be broken.
