Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Easy way to align Audacity Temp files?

Post by frampoid » Tue Aug 03, 2010 2:06 pm

After recording for an hour, I went to stop the recording, when audacity crashed, now I have about 300 or so temporary audacity files of about 12 seconds numbered numerically, is there any way to easily place these pieces together in order and export them as one wav? Thankyou in advanced.

Chill, dude. You may have to wait for the message to go around the earth once. I'm nine time zones away from some of the other elves.

Crash Recovery

Then, when you mop up the mess, download and use Audacity 1.3.12.

Use the lame associated with the newer Audacity. The older Audacity doesn't always get along with newer computers.
