I've had Audacity running for a couple of months on Vista HP but all of a sudden it won't start - comes up with a message

Audacity.exe has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution
is available.

But it doesn't! I've tried uninstalling, re-downloading and re-installing but it just does exactly the same.
Anyone have any ideas or is it just me??

The easiest thing would probably be to try Audacity 1.3.4 which you can download here: http://audacityteam.org/download/beta_windows
