I am new to Audacity and have installed the free download of Audacity to my Gateway computer. I am trying to remove vocals from Music CD.s I have followed the instructions to remove the Vocals after doing so I open the files and selcect play but it won't play. Can anyone help me on removing Vocals from Musich CD's.

For help with attenuating vocals see Vocal Removal. As explained on that page if you use Audacity 1.3.12 it has a built in Vocal Remover effect for removing centre-panned vocals.
