I am new to Audacity. I just installed it, to be able to convert old cassettes to cds. I am playing from a small new unit called Digitech Audio and my operating system is Windows XP. Audacity seemed to record okay but when I play back, there is no sound. I have saved the file as wav and mp3 and tried to play them on AVS and WMP but still no sound. Does anyone know what I should do?
Thanks.

Re: No sound
Where do you want the playback sound to come out from? From the "Digitech Audio" device or from your normal sound card?Rustyfile wrote:I am playing from a small new unit called Digitech Audio
In Audacity 1.2.6, look in "Edit menu > Preferences > Audio I/O" to select the playback device.
