please help me

I need help .... i installed the program but the desktop icon isnt loading....the icon thats on my desktop looks like the computer and software box .....it looks like the install file..but its the program exe....what can i do??

Download the "Audacity 1.3.12 installer" (.exe file) that is appropriate for your operating system onto your Desktop. Run the file from an Administrator account.
