How to differentiate tracks?

Post by KrisML » Tue Jul 20, 2010 2:41 am

I am recording audio dialogue. I recorded several tracks, stopping and starting as I need to. When I try to play them back they all play at the same time. How do I differentiate them and play only one at a time?

next time pause and restart instead of stopping and starting

for now
you can slide the tracks to make them line up in the sequence you want
then they should play the way you wanted

put the start of 2 at the end of 1
then the start of 3 at the end of 2 etc.

You do that using the "Time Shift" tool, which is selected either by clicking the button with the double headed arrow <--> or by pressing F5 key.
The quickest way back to the normal "Selection" tool is by pressing the F1 key.
