Have data but no main file

I believe audacity or my computer didn't fully save a file i was working on. I have a data folder for the file with data in it, but no audacity file. Is there a way to make a audacity file from the data? Please help

As far as I'm aware this is impossible. The .aup file is the instructions for what to do with the individual files in the data folder.
If you were enough of a techie and had endless patience You could in theory play around editing an .aup file in notepad, but it would take forever and be an incredibly hit and miss process.
You'd need infinite monkeys and infinite computers. Better off re-recording I'm afraid.
