Hi, i am new to using Audacity so please do not ridicule me.
I have just imported a drum track and a bass track as part of a song building project, the lead in time of both tracks is different so they do not start together, i notice there are lots of Align options but i do not know how to do it.
Please help,
Thank you.

Re: How to align tracks?
I would definitely recommend that you upgrade to Audacity 1.3.12 - handling the position of sections of audio is much better in the 1.3.12 version.
Probably the easiest way to align your tracks is to use the "Time Shift" tool (double headed arrow button <--> )
Either click on the button or press the F5 key, then use your mouse to drag one of the tracks left/right so that they line up correctly.
(F1 key changes the cursor back to the normal "selection" tool.)
