Hi,

Just beginning with audacity. Trying to record an album with a turntable for PC on my PC and no sound is coming out of my speakers. I see the sounds in the input file of Audacity while I play the record but no soung comes out !!
What should I do?

Click Edit > Preferences: Audio I/O and put a check in "Software Playthrough". Now you can hear while you are recording. If you want to hear the turntable in the computer speakers without recording, click in the red recording meter to "monitor" the input, as well as enabling software playthrough.
