Hi there - I'm a brand new user to Audacity, and this is my very first venture into recording. I've got a BR532 - but this is the first time I've ever mixed tracks on a PC! I'm really enjjoying things so far, but I realise that my questions will sound very lame.
I've imported some tracks into Audacity, but I'd like to remove the "dead time" at the start of the track - about 40 seconds. I know how put two points on an individual track and cut that section out, but how do I ensure that each track has exactly the same amount cut out? Can I cut 40 seconds from every track at the same time?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Cutting a section from each track
If I understand your question, the solution is to size the window and the height of all tracks so that they are all visible at once, then select the same range of each track by swiping across all of them with your mouse button down.
