Recording a voice and watching a Quicktime at the same time?

I cannot try this because I don` have the machine yet but here is my question:

Can I record my voice (with a USB mic) in Audacity while I am watching a Quicktime Movie at the same time ?

I will be on a PC : Gateway Profile 4:

I think you probably can - if the USB mic is selected as input in Audacity then it won't "hear" the audio from the Quicktime movie. However at the risk of stating the obvious, you would have to be wearing headphones otherwise the soundtrack playing through speakers would be picked up by the mic.
